AT YOUR CONSULTATION VISIT

The majority of people who meet the age and general health requirements are good candidates for the LASIK laser procedure. There are some conditions that exclude certain patients. But, whether you have nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism, there is a good chance you’re a great candidate.

We want your visit to our office to be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Sign in, grab a cup of our gourmet coffee, and relax. In about 30 minutes, we’ll be able to make a confident determination of your candidacy for our laser vision correction options. Utilizing today’s state-of-the-art acquisition technology, we will map the unique prescription and curvature of your eyes and design a custom treatment for your laser vision correction procedure.

After reviewing your measurements and maps with Dr. Eisner, we will be able to tell you if LASIK surgery is right for you. Don’t hesitate to ask questions! Every question you have about vision correction procedures will be answered.

MEETING DR. EISNER

After making the confident determination of your candidacy in the consultation, it’s time for Dr. Eisner to meet and examine you. The pre-operative exam is the final determination of candidacy and only Dr. Eisner is qualified to make that decision. During this dilated eye exam, he will explain your specific procedure plan and answer any remaining questions. Assuming a healthy exam, Dr. Eisner will approve you for LASIK surgery and it’s time to schedule your big day!

SCHEDULING YOUR LASIK SURGERY

LASIK surgeries are normally scheduled on Thursday. For many of our patients, surgery can be performed the same week of the consultation. Some contact lens restrictions may apply.  We will work with you to find the most convenient time for you to come in and assist you in making your payment arrangements for surgery.
